My kids had a great time making these simple tissue paper candle holders and they look really great when they are done.

Materials Need:
- Mod Podge
- Glass Jars/Candle Holders (I got ours from the Dollar Tree)
- Tissue paper
- Votive/Tea light candles
- Paint Brushes
- Paint (optional)
It is super easy, just let the kids apply tissue pieces to the inside of the candle holder with Mod Podge, let dry, and then add a candle!
This DIY candle holder craft was easy to do with two and three-year-olds as well as two younger toddlers (19mo). I wasn’t quite sure the younger ones would understand the concept so I experimented with the Mod Podge a bit. I added a dash of red paint to some of the Mod Podge and gave the kids the option of colored or white (aka regular) Mod Podge to use. I figured if the little ones didn’t get the concept of using the Mod Podge to stick the tissue paper on at least they would end up with colored glass.
My camera doesn’t do it justice and they look so much better in real life than photo allows. The one with the pink paint on the right and it adds a slight tint of pink to the overall color but it turned out great!
