If you’ve read some of my other posts then you may now that MB and the daycare kids are really into sorting and counting currently. I’ve been trying to find ways to help them develop these skill through hands on activities.
Recently I created this clothespin counting activity for them with clothespins and paint samples. I had the clothespin activity laid out on the table for them to play with if they wanted to while they were in the playroom after our morning outside time.
I hurried off for a moment to put the infant down for a nap and when I came back I found MB adding the counting/sorting bears (a total favorite activity of hers right now, link below) to the clothespin activity. She pushed the clothespins aside and began using the bears instead! What a smarty pants!!
It just goes to show how our little ones are more than capable to learn and explore in their own ways!
Your can find the sorting bears we used here {affiliate link}, we love them and they get used for way more than just cup sorting!
