Need an easy Halloween treat you kids can make? Give these yummy monster cups a try today! Here’s one that my kids LOVED! It’s relatively easy and my daycare kids managed to keep it fairly mess free (which is amazing!)! I wanted something easy and yummy, but mainly something that I could make out of a few things I already had on hand. Thankfully I came across this recipe in my files from my preschool teacher days and off we went!
Monster Pudding Cups Halloween Treat for Kids
Ingredients needed:
- 2 packages of instant vanilla pudding
- Milk (as called for by pudding mix)
- Oreos
- Green food coloring
- Small plastic cups
- Marker
We mixed the pudding and added green food coloring!
After it was mixed to a color that the kids liked they started scooping it into the cups
The 2 packs of pudding we used ended up filling about 6 cups a little less than 1/2 full. When the cups were filled we put them in the fridge to chill like the pudding recipe called for. Before they go into the fridge I’d recommend using a permanent marker to make the monster’s face. I waited until the end and the condensation from the cups being in the fridge made it hard to get the marker to take.
Later we crushed the Oreos (I put them in a plastic Ziploc and let the kids use the roller pin on it) and sprinkled them on top for our monster’s hair.
Tada! Yummy!
